On Thursday 15th March 2018 I arrived at Creative Gardens in Ballymena for an initial coffee and chat with Barbara and Bethany. Barbara is the owner of Barbara Campbell Training + Consultancy and after being a participant in one of her group workshops before, I knew first hand how brilliant she was at her job.
We chatted through the vision they had for video and how it could be used to help boost awareness of the business. We decided that the best way to showcase how effective Barbara’s services are, would be to hear from her clients directly. Who better to explain it than those who have benefited so much from her work!
We then set about arranging filming at several of her clients head quarters. Spectrum were first, an engineering company based in Dungannon, who have built a great relationship with Barbara through their years of working together. A similar story was told at Cyril Johnston, based in Carryduff, who couldn’t have been more positive about the improvements the training had made within their employees working and personal life. Lastly, I filmed at Sliderobes in Belfast and those from a variety of backgrounds and experience levels spoke of the personal approach Barbara had in making sure the business thrived in her care.
The final piece of filming was a headshot recording of Barbara to deliver her own voiceover. As well as this I also filmed a short section with Barbara as she delivered live training to a group of employees from Bushmills Distillery.
Now for the hard part! Piecing everything together.
It was time to take all the interviews, voiceovers, workshop footage and cut away content and form it into engaging video content that could be used across BCTC’s website and social platforms. I think we achieved something that reflects the personality and passion behind Barbara’s business quite clearly and I am so excited to share some of the videos with you all!
